This Privacy Policy applies to the 2dollartests.com website and the Pocket QuizBuilder mobile application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by AMBER USA, LLC (dba 2DollarTests). Throughout this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to AMBER USA, LLC.

When you use our Service, we may collect the following information:

  • Account Information: Your name, email address, and display name when you create an account. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the information you authorize Apple to share (which may include a private relay email address).
  • Purchase Information: Records of your purchases, including product names and dates. Payment details are processed by Stripe (web) or Apple (in-app) — we do not store your full credit card number.
  • Usage Data: Quiz scores, study session history, time spent studying, and feature usage. This helps us improve our products and track your progress.
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for analytics and debugging.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Deliver purchased exams and study materials
  • Sync your purchases and progress between web and mobile
  • Communicate with you about your account and purchases
  • Improve the quality and clarity of our content

Product Optimization: We may use aggregated usage data to conduct internal research and A/B testing, including presenting randomized content ordering or layouts to determine which presentations yield the best learning experience.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share data only with:

  • Stripe — to process web payments (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • Apple — to process in-app purchases and Sign in with Apple
  • Heroku / AWS — to host and operate the Service
  • Google Analytics & Meta Pixel (website only) — to analyze traffic and deliver relevant advertisements on other platforms. These tools collect data such as IP address, device type, and browsing behavior.

The Pocket QuizBuilder mobile app does not include third-party advertising SDKs or ad tracking.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and study data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or regulatory purposes (e.g., purchase transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years).

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Delete your account and associated data — available in the Pocket QuizBuilder app under Profile > Delete Account, or by emailing us
  • Export your data upon request

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our website uses cookies to handle technical functionality and track performance:

8. Payment Security

Web payments are processed by Stripe, which encrypts your data through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). In-app payments are processed entirely by Apple — we never receive your payment card details for App Store transactions. All data transmitted to our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
